About Sor.Mantrarak

Two Traditions.
One Living Path.

Sacred transmission and warrior discipline meet beside Rajadamnern Stadium.

The discipline of self-control

Muay Thai × Sak Yant

In Thai tradition, Muay Thai has never been merely a sport. It is a discipline that brings body and mind into harmony. A fighter is measured not only by force, but by the ability to remain composed under pressure and steady in moments of intensity.
Sak Yant arises from this same understanding. Before becoming marks upon the skin, it functioned as a living reminder—guiding the bearer to recognise personal limits, act with awareness and remain present when strength and decisiveness are called for.
The meaning of a Yantra is not found only in its visible form, but in the awareness and intention of the person who carries it. Its purpose is balance, clarity and responsibility—not unchecked power.

Legacy, lineage & living heritage

The Foundations of
SOR.MANTRARAK

Sor.mantrarak stands upon two foundations that have shaped Thailand’s cultural and martial heritage: the Muay Thai tradition of Sor. Thanikul Gym and the sacred Sak Yant lineage of Khum Mantrarak. Together, they unite warrior discipline with sacred knowledge, preserving both traditions through awareness, respect, and authentic practice.

01 · MUAY THAI

Sor. Thanikul Gym

Founded in 1977, Sor. Thanikul became one of the defining camps of Thailand’s Golden Era. Its fighters were respected for balance, intelligence and refined control. Beyond titles, the gym helped shape how Muay Thai was trained, fought and understood.

02 · SACRED LINEAGE

Khum Mantrarak

A Sak Yant samnak rooted in sacred script, ritual transmission and lineage-based teaching. Knowledge is preserved through careful consultation and practice, ensuring continuity, understanding and respect for inherited meaning.

Strength Guided by Awareness

The Discipline of Self-Control

In Thai tradition, Muay Thai develops harmony between body and mind through endurance, restraint, and composure, while the Wai Kru honors lineage, teachers, and a fighter’s commitment to self-control. Sak Yant reflects the same principles, serving as a reminder to act with awareness, recognize personal limits, and maintain balance, clarity, and responsibility when facing fear or pressure.

Where Traditions Live : From Past Legacy to Living Tradition

Rajadamnern Stadium

Situated at the historic Rajadamnern Stadium, a place that has shaped the spirit of Thai fighters for generations, Sor.mantrarak brings together the discipline of Sor. Thanikul Gym and the sacred wisdom of Khum Mantrarak. Within an environment where discipline is lived through everyday practice, Sak Yant retains its inherited meaning while Muay Thai gives it living expression through training, awareness, and conduct.

Welcoming fighters, practitioners, and individuals seeking grounding, clarity, or balance, Sor.mantrarak carries these traditions from the past into the present without weakening their foundations, uniting sacred transmission and warrior discipline as one path.

Here, Sak Yant remains intact in its meaning, while Muay Thai gives it living expression through discipline, awareness and conduct.
